How to use keyless entry remotes?

My dog said something about pressing a button on the keyfob but said hes not sure.

Press button, if no workie means fob bad or battery dead or not programmed to car in which case needs to visit dealership to have programmed to your car unless your like some of these idiots & bought that crap off Ebay hopeing it works for your car
