Definitely crocodiles are more dangerous to people. I live in southern Australia at the moment where sharks are common (whit pointers, hammer heads and bronze whalers being the most common here) I still swim and scuba dive never seen a shark scuba diving but know a couple of people that have. When I was in Northern Australia in an area known to have crocodiles you just don't get in the water. Put it this way if your diving and see a shark usually they will be curious and swim by, dive and see a salt water crocodile and your most likely in trouble. There are more deaths by shark attack in Australia then crocodiles but the most populated areas in Australia don't get crocodiles. Also you have a bit of a chance of surviving a shark attack where as with a crocodile your gone. Just the last week in a us we had a lady killed by a crocodile and a guy who survived getting his leg bit off by a shark.

Probably, from our point of view. During the shark control conference in New Orleans (1957 or thereabouts), there was a story circulating about an African explorer who wanted to take a swim in the river. His guide stopped him and took him downstream to a spot that he said had no crocs. After his swim, the explorer asked the guide why there were no crocs there. The guide told him, "The sharks scare them away."

It depends on the circumstances, but in general, yes.

With human encounters, the crocks seem to be more aggressive. Although encounters are rare, the ratio of bad encounters is much higher than with sharks.
As a predator, they are about the same across the board.
When I lived near beachfront, there were plenty of smaller sharks around. Had a few leopard sharks swim right between my legs, and of course the little pinbacks are about harmless as long as you don't grab them.
Barracuda are not all that big, but not very friendly either.
I live in the US, so no crocks but you don't want to try cuddling with a gator.

Depends. Towards prey, people, or territorial

Crocs will slaughter your ***. They have a move where they spin in the water with a prey item in their mouth, breaking bones and killing the animal.

Sharks will swim right past your ***. (Unless your covered in dead fish or something) Sharks are way more powerful then Crocs and can kill prey by ramming their prey and biting them as they rocket into the sky. Pretty dangerous.

However, Crocs will attack to defend territory, defend babies, and for food. Sharks kill for food. So crocs attack more often, but sharks are easily more dangerous.

Don't stereotype on sharks though, they might be dangerous, if they attack you. Which only happens if they mistake you for a prey item.

Just coz crocs are more aggressive doesn't mean that they aren't cooler then sharks though.

Could be, from what I have heard. I'd avoid BOTH PREDITORS (OF HUMANS). Dolphins are the only ones who protect humans from sharks, if they are about. Crocs AND alligators are about as bad, either one.
