How do you record a tv screen with good audio,?

so I'm getting a ergot screen recorder so i can record some stuff on my wii u. I'm going to get a mic for me me and my friends to talk into while recording. I know it captures the tv audio but if i have the tv sound on and it get into are mic will it sound bad?
