Chem pH solutions problem?
What are the hydronium and hydroxide ion concentrations in a solution that is 2.0 × 10-2 M NaOH ?
回答 (1)
Concentration of NaOH before dissociation = 2.0 × 10⁻² M
1 mole of NaOH dissociates in water to give 1 mole of OH⁻.
Concentration of OH⁻ ions, [OH⁻] = 2.0 × 10⁻² M
[OH⁻] [H₃O⁺] = Kw
(2.0 × 10⁻²) × [H₃O⁺] = 1.0 × 10⁻¹⁴
[H₃O⁺] = (1.0 × 10⁻¹⁴) / (2.0 × 10⁻²)
[H₃O⁺] = 5 × 10⁻¹³ M
