dizzy. 2 days ago it was so bad I went to the emergency room. The docs there were shocked to find out I was taking 200mg a day and changed it to another bp med at 20mg a day. How long do you think it will take to be normal again? How long before the Atenolol is out of my system? Thanks!!

I am shocked too. My blood pressure is very high, and I take 100 mg ONCE a day. It is very odd that he is making you take it twice a day. Oh you will be normal quite quickly.
