when I purchase my flight ticket, but I can t make it, can I give it to someone else?

so my name is gonna be there and its got to match my passport, but what if I contact them and tell them about the changes (That I wanna give my ticket to someone else) is that possible?

In almost all cases, tickets are nontransferable, meaning you cannot give them to someone else. They can only be used by the person originally named on them.

You might be able to change your ticket (for a fee), or get a credit toward a future flight (minus a fee).

Tickets cannot be transferred to anyone else. If you can't travel see if your ticket is refundable. If it was a cheap ticket you will probably find it is non-refundable and there is nothing you can do about it.

No. Tickets are not transferable. It would probably say that on the Terms and Conditions or Conditions of Contract or General Conditions of Carriage.

You will haveto get the ticket reissued in the other person's name.
