Why do I hate looking into people's eyes?

I find it very uncomfortable and I'm very sensitive so I feel like when the other person's eyes have an anger to them I feel like I want to cry (cannot control my tears). Instead, I look at people's lips when I'm listening but even then I still feel uneasy.
Also, when I do muster up enough courage to look at least at them, it's only their clothing or arms/legs.

Is there a way to cope with this as my teachers are getting mad at me for this, making me one step closer to failing yr 11. (long story short, they hate it when I do this)

Look Inbetween them, above the nose. It looks like your maintaining eye contact and at the same time you're not feeling awkward by looking into their eyes.

It is what is called "Fate". Nothing else. Please don't over think, if you are mentally upset now.
