Why are guys still shocked when the meet girl gamers?

Pretty much because society has developed this impression that video games are childish and only guys play them. There is also the belief that if girls are gamers it's only because they are trying to attract guys, rather than because they actually enjoy them. I don't how many times guys not only act surprised that I play video games but then I get "tested" like I'm just saying that I play them. I know there are more girl gamers than when I was a teenager, but even I have personally only met 2 others than myself, and they're younger than me. =)

you are a small minority of gamers.. i dont know what the statistics are... but its likely 9/10 gamers are male. thats just my opinion though... dont know the facts

because in this world.. girls are more mature than guys,, and girls dont usually occupy themself with games.. they will do shoppings.. chit chat..

Guys believe that videogames are for men only, and women are not advanced enough to survive in videogames.

Gamer girls are so ugly it becomes shocking. I understand these poor boys.
