How do I pay an invoice via paypal ?

So someone emailed me an Excel invoice. There’s no “pay now” link just their paypal account written on it. How do I make the payment with my personal credit card ?

Log into paypal,
"Pay for goods" to the email address given, citing the excel description/reference

You need to have a Paypal account of your own (it takes less than 5 minutes to set up). Put a money transfer from your bank into your Paypal and then click 'send money', follow the directions.
