Calculate ?H for the following reaction of nitrous oxide with oxygen.?
2NO(g) + O^2(g) --> 2NO^2(g)?Hf^0 NO(g) = 90.37 kJ/mol; ?Hf^0 NO^2 (g) = 33.85 kJ/mol
回答 (2)
2NO(g) + O₂(g) → 2NO₂(g) ...... ΔH
ΔH
= 2 ΔHf[NO₂(g)] - 2 ΔHf[NO(g)] - ΔHf[O₂(g)]
= (2 × 33.85 - 2 × 90.37 - 0) kJ
= -113.04 kJ
Delta Hrxn = 2(Delta Hf(NO2)) - 2(Delta Hf(NO)
Delta Hrxn = 2(33.85 kJ/mol) - 2(90.37 kJ/mol) = -113.04 kJ
