Initial : V₁ = 556 cm³, T₁ = 278 K
New : V₂ = ? cm³, T₂ = 231 K

For a fixed amount of gas under constant pressure :
V₁/T₁ = V₂/T₂
Then, V₂ = V₁ × (T₂/T₁)

New volume, V₂ = (556 cm³) × (231/278) = 462 cm³

...... The answer is: B. 462 cm³
