Check or Money order?Which is faster?

Obviously there is no fee with writing a personal check. Money orders cost money. Second, how would one be faster than the other? Do you think that postal services move one letter containing a check at one speed and a letter with a money order using another speed???? How would they know the difference?? For the sender, checks may be a TAD safer because you can stop payment, but about the same in all other aspects......for recipients, money orders are safer.
