The Advil liquid gel pimple trick made my pimples WORSE!?

I put them on my pimples last night hoping to make them either go away or reduce redness and woke up with them being even worse than before! Why is this and how do I make them less red?

Never rely on Internet "Home remedies"...it will just make things worse.

why would you think that would work? use Clearasil or something with Benzoyl Peroxide in it - you know, Actual acne medicine
