New Moon: rises at sun rise, sets at sunset
Waxing crescent: rises in morning, sets after sunset
First Quarter: rises at noon, sets at midnight
Waxing gibbous: rise in afternoon, sets very late
Full Moon: rises at sunset, sets at sunrise
waning gibbous: rises early evening, sets early morning
Third (or Last) Quarter: rises at midnight, sets at noon
waning crescent: rises late night, sets afternoon
and back to New
