Can HIV get transferred from oral sex?

Say that you went down on a guy that may have HIV and swallowed, or that he went down on you. How likely is it to get transferred? And how could you prevent it?

The risk of getting HIV from oral sex is lower then when you have intercourse, but it's still possible to get HIV from having oral sex with an infected person.
