If you have eaten something, and then you drink water after it, it should be sweet because water dissolves the organic food into reducing sugars.
But normally, it wouldn't taste like anything but pure water. (It has no taste.)

Cold water like Natural Milk

Water does not have any taste but this is most important to all in their life. Animals,plants, human beings all are wanted to drink water.

It depends on the water. I'm sure you have had it before.

Taste like H2O to me

It's supposed to taste like nothing. But some bottled and tap waters don't filter out the chemicals and it gives it a funny taste. The debate still continues on whether the government's addition of fluoride to tap water was good or not...

Salty at the beach, brackish up the river some, cool & fresh up high in the mountains. Then this being the canon of ores. Minerals from well to well it can be sweet to sour,sulfer taste or iron or lead taste to it. Or other taste.
