mouth numbness and throat tightness caused by penicillin?

So today I got penicillin from the doctors to treat bacterial pharyngitis. After I took my 2nd dose of antibiotics I felt a numbness around my jaw area, which subsided after half an hour. I took my third does about an hour and half ago and am experiencing slight numbness in my lips and tightness of my throat. I think I should stop taking the antibiotics, but obviously I don't want the bacteria to become resistant? What should I do?
