I found a dildo in my brother's room. Does his story sound legit?

I was looking for something I left in my older brother's room when I came across a pink vibrator. Immediately, I dropped it and my mom came into the room. My brother began laughing hysterically because I touched it, and my mom had to ask where it came from. My brother said a random chick showed up at the house, and he let her in, then she pulled a dildo out of her purse and he said no. Could it be true, or would he have it for his own personal reasons? The dildo is now gone.
