Should you be forced to pay for being admitted involuntarily to a mental hopsital.?

Im 18 and get paid 9 dollars a hour and still in high school. I was involuntary admitted into a mental hospital and after getting out I was slapped with a 10,000 medical with is complete outrages since I didnt even want to be in the mental hospital in the first place.

You obviously live in the USA. That doesn't happen in civilised countries. My daughter suffered a brain aneurysm in Ontario Canada. She received state of the art surgery and spent 3 weeks in hospital. It didn't cost us a cent.
