Would Donald Trump never apologize to Japan for Hiroshima and Nagasaki?

I can picture it, he would never apologize and he would probably say if we had to go stronger than what we did to get the Japanese to surrender I would go stronger if I were president. That's one thing I like about him, he's not apologetic to our country and is proud of America. Unlike Obama who plans to go to Hiroshima and bowing down to the Japanese Prime Minister, and is probably going to apologize for what we did.

No, of course not. Trump is not some sissy politically correct pundit like Obama is. Japan started this fight, we ended it with saving millions of lives on both sides, and the Japanese let their own people die by refusing to unconditionally surrender. If we had to go stronger than what he did in Hiroshima and Nagasaki, I would go stronger.

I hope Trump wouldn't apologize, and I hope Obama doesn't either.
Why should we apologize for bombing Japan?

Oh- wait...
You might not have known that we were at war with Japan.
FYI: We were at war with Japan when we bombed them 70 years ago. It wasn't, like, some accident where a plane carrying nuclear bombs accidentally crashed into a Japanese city on the way to Iran last week. It was a war.

A Democrat used nuclear bombs on cities that contained women and children, so a Democrat, like Obama, should apologize...Just as the Democrats 'did' the League o' Nations leading to WW II...Then the Democrats 'did' The new 'improved' UN leading to the cold war. Democrats have much to apologize for: Including support for slavery, and the Democrat income 'tax.'...Donald Trump NO LONGER supports Democrats, whether they nuke women & children, or found a world destroying UN.

There is no reason to apologize for either Nagasaki or Hiroshima. If there were specific instances of brutality (civilians, surrendered combatants, etc), that is a different story. Are all the other countries of WW II getting on board? Have all member nations offered the appropriate apologies for any misstep during that period?

I don't get this NEED people have to be apologized to by someone who had nothing to do with the original affront, especially when it happened years and years ago. What purpose does it serve anyway?

I don't think America has anything to apologise to Japan for. The people who died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki deserved an apology from Emperor Hirohito, whose policies and unwavering refusal to surrender led to the atomic bombs being dropped (and ending the World War outside of Europe).

You might not like President Obama, however he is a diplomat. Trump is not.

Donald would never apologize. Judging the past by today's "feel good" politics is not right. Japan killed 5.4 millions civilians if you include all the countries it invaded.....the most being in China. Of the POWs held by Japan, 10,700 US soldiers died, 270,000 Chinese soldiers died.

Why should he they started the world war !!
I THINK JAPAN SHOULD APOLOGIZE FOR KILLING 2000 PEOPLE AND SINKING SHIP AT PEARL HARBOR WITH NO WAR DECLARED !!!
AND TRUMP JUST MIGHT MAKE THEM PAY FOR IT ALL
HEY JAPAN THAT WILL BE $150 TRILLION DOLLARS AND ALLOW ALL THE SOLDIERS FAMILIES KILLED IN WW2 TO SUE JAPAN AND GERMANY
that will be $10,000 trillion pay up b i t c h or China and Russia can have ya both

Donald Trump would lose count of the people he disrespected, and that's just during his campaign.

I think the Donald would say something like "You will cut tarriffs on America goods, or you'll get Hiroshima'ed again with one of my new Golden Trump nukes. By the way, I love the Japs, and I am eating a teriyaki chicken burger made in Trump grill to prove it"

I am Japanese. America does not have to apologize Japan any more .
2016-05-16 5:47 pm
He probably wouldn't go there in that area of Japan since it really is sort of just awkward

President Obama is NOT going there to apologize to the Japanese.

That has already been made clear by the White House.
2016-05-16 5:45 pm
He did not pull that trigger.

Americans never apologize for any of the hundreds of atrocities it has and continues to perpetrate from the cries against humanity wars in Nam to the Iraq war, to dozens of democracies that they have destroyed purely for profit etc etc etc .
The majority of these pukes claim to be a Christian nation and In God We Trust .
So morally bankrupt and monumentally hypocritical are these animals , they warp themselves in my peace loving ,compassionate, loving, forgiving , God and Christ to justify their filth .
What we had was a Japan that had already lost the war and was massively retreating home and we nuked them on some justification that if they did not thousands of American troops would be killed .
To many historians this is crap for all the US had to do is to contain them in their island without any invasion.
Like with Iraq ,most of the world wanted to just continue the containment of Saddam tat had worked for years with very very low cost of life but the US wanted a Cecil B DeMille epic macho crime against humanity SHOCK AND AWE and slaughtered over 5000 US troops and over 300,000 innocent Muslims ALL LIKE HIROSHMA BASED ON FILTHY STINKING LIES ?
