How to get rid of dark blemishes between breast?

I have had these darker shade of spot between my chest and it's annoying. I don't know what it is but I was hoping someone to tell me and a way to get rid of it. I tried scrubbing. Exfoliating. I even made a paste but it won't budge. I have had it for a couple months now.

If you're on birth control pills, that's probably the cause. All the scrubbing in the world won't get rid of them. Use Dermablend to cover them up. I have the same problem.
