Is it true that when you find a penny on its tail, you are supposed to turn it over and give it to a friend to share the luck?

There are a variety of superstitions regarding pennies, but since they're all just superstitions, and since pennies don't actually affect random chance in the universe, you can pretty much pick and choose which superstition you think is the most fun!
