Puppies and Dad?

So my 3 year old Staffy ***** has 6 puppies that are 4 days old (1st litter). I was just wondering when and how is the best way to introduce dad. He's in the same room (front room), if he tries to look into the open top house to see them, mummy growls, if he tries looking through the door mummy growls. I understand that this is normal and that she is being protective. Sometimes he'll accidentally get too close and she'll growl. As time goes by she is more accepting of dad. I just want to know if this is the best way to introduce dad or is there a better way?

Your puppies Father has NO idea the pups are his and the mother has no idea he is their daddy!!
To her he is just a threat to her babies and she will defend them aggressively at this young age.
keep the male dog away from Mum and pups until the pups are fully weaned at about 6 weeks old and even then always supervise the male when near the pups.
Not knowing your dogs temperaments its difficult to advise 100% but always err on the safe side.

Keep him away. Right away. Dont let him look in the room. You can see its disturbing her so dont do it.
He has no role to play.

He can be introduced to the pups when Mum starts to lose interest and they are weaned, but generally pups worry adult male dogs and they dont want to play with them.
So dont leave him with them.

Keep him separated from the puppies until they are weaned.

You don't introduce them unless you want them to be killed. The sire has no knowledge of his parentage, after the deed was done, there is no connection.

Obviously you shouldn't have risked her life by breeding, period.

I'll bet you didn't take the dam and the pups to a vet within 24 hours after their birth like you were suppose to either.

Should they survive, highly unlikely, please spay her when the pups are weaned and don't even consider a second litter of poorly bred, genetically deficient pups.

It's just a time thing. Slowly she will back off, but right now they can't see or walk, so she knows she is responsible for their lives completely. Just let him keep taking a look every now and then, each day she'll loosen up a little, and when they open their eyes and start crawling/walking then he's good to go.
