What do you think about someone getting a tattoo with no meaning behind it?

I have many tattoos that have no indepth meaning but I like them, if people want to judge or stare at me for having them so be it - its my body not theirs but I do agree thinking about something you won't regret.

As long as you like it that's all that matters. Although it is strange if you chose to get something that has meaning to other people, like a cross, and obviously if you get something that has meaning to people of a culture that's not your own that's potentially appropriative, outside that there's nothing wrong with getting a tattoo just as you like it.

i have 1 tattoo with absolutely no meaning behind it (its a flower with butterflies and crap on my arm). i got it when i was younger and now I regret it lol. i dont even like flowers or butterflies. but i dont think tattoos doesn't necessarily have to have meaning. if you like it and think its cute then get it.just make sure it's what you REALLY want because i heard tattoo removal hurts like a b**** lol

I have several tattoos with no meaning behind them. I got them because I liked the design. Personally you don't owe anyone an explanation as to why you have a particular tattoo. I find it rude actually. Just as rude as someone asking how much you earn or asking about your sex life.

Tattoos don't need a meaning. If you like them, and you think you'll continue to like them, that's enough--it's art. That said, you should know that there's a thing in Bible, Leviticus 19:28 (according to Google), that explicitly says you shouldn't get tattooed? I'm not Christian, and I've heard that some people believe that the New Testament cancels out everything in the Old Testament (which I think that part is in?), but it's something to be aware of, if only because people might give you sh!t about having that tattooed when the religion's holy book seems to explicitly forbid tattoos altogether. There's no such thing as a tattoo with 'no meaning'. Just getting one is an irreversible step, which obviously has meaning. There is a reason you chose a feather too. Even if you don't think so, it will be in your subconscious.
