2 dice are thrown if it is known that the sum of numbers on the dice was less than 6, the probability of getting a sum is?
Ans: 1/5
please Explain!?

P(x = 2) = 1/36
P(x = 3) = 2/36
P(x = 4) = 3/36
P(x = 5) = 4/36

P(x < 6) = (1 + 2 + 3 + 4) / 36
P(x < 6) = 10/36
P(x < 6) = 5/18
