why do you think the other countries in Europe used the strategy of appeasement?

In the case of Neville Chamberlain, an attempt to see things as they were not in order to gain the illusion of peace and security. But it only made Great Britain more vulnerable to the inevitable attack.

Because they were feckless, cowardly socialists


Much like our current president

To avoid WW2!

It was easier to appease then to resist!

The same reason appeasement is always used...... not wanting to get involved in a war.
