Find k so that 2/3 - k, k , 5/8 - k consecutive are three terms of an A.P?
回答 (1)
(2/3) - k, k , (5/8) - k are three consecutive terms of an A.P.
Common difference :
k - [(2/3) - k)] = [(5/8) - k] - k
k - (2/3) + k = (5/8) - k - k
2k - (2/3) = (5/8) - 2k
2k + 2k = (5/8) + (2/3)
4k = (15/24) + (16/24)
4k = 31/24
k = 31/96
