Do liberals realize that a big molitary prevents wars and a small military causes wars and direct attacks on America?

If you have a big molitary, I urge you to see a dermatologist.

And the US spends more on it's military than the next 8 largest countries combined.
And the generals agree that the US is the best trained and best equipped military in the world.
So how much is to much?

do conservatives realize that not every issue can be solved by a small government with a big military, or are they using their proclivity toward a big military to then justify their right to bear arms and build up their own personal arsenals as protection against possible government action against its own citizens?

True. But just like everything else in America, it's a huge money pit, in fact it's our biggest expense. Can we audit the Pentagon please.
