Moving house don't seem to be phone line no sockets installed hoe can i find out if there ever was?

Prob being thick looked everywhere and theses days everyone does surely. Can i find out if a phone line already

When the phone company comes out to set up your service, they will locate the jacks.

just phone the local phone provider from another phone
