Why do people go to hell?
Do you think that people will go to hell for being an atheist or following a different religion, for being a not-nice guy, for just being completely evil or that there is no hell?

To responsible, thinking, mature adults, there is no Hell.
The threat of Hell is a Christian "projection" of fear.....
Heaven is a Carrot-on-a-Stick!
Hell is the warning to chase that carrot..
Why do people go to Hell?
To say they've been there - and back!
The small town of Hell is only a 35 km scenic train ride east of the city of Trondheim and worth a visit !

You can't go to a place that isn't real.
If you could, i'd totally be in the Tardis right now.
We have the choice to follow the truth of God and be with Him or the lies of the world from Satan and be with him. There is no third choice, but where we end up is our choice.
Because they are not Christians; it's the only way to avoid hell.
People go to hell to get away from God. God will not force a person to be with him in heaven, if that person wants nothing to do with God. So, God gives that person what he wants : eternal separation from him. He does this because he respects the freedom of his creatures. Hell is the state of self-exclusion from communion with God. This does not apply to atheists who do not believe in God.
hell is just the grave..do some research
People will "go to hell" because they have allowed themselves to pass from this life while remaining in a state of condemnation. "Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son" (John 3:18).
Because even Jesus knows that everyone is a God too ( John 10:34 ) we subconsciously punish ourselves to motivate ourselves to grow to God's perfection .
Because it is simply the grave and not a place of torment.
