Why does my dog raise her head straight up while/after eating?

Almost every time my chiwawa eats, she raises her snout straight up into the air for a few seconds. It s usually only when we feed her shredded chicken, shredded because she s got a habit of hardly chewing her food and just straight up swallowing it.

Ask your your vet. Could be a dental problem that this breed is well known to have even if you're providing daily dental hygiene.

That's just it, she is swallowing the lot.
