It might be so damages that u can't repair it. The only solution in this case to get rid of the damaged hair is to cut it off.

I use argan oil. It's wonderful. Buy it pure, not mixed with anything. Use it by itself and add it to ur hair products, not shampoo because it won't be effective. It's effective if u leave it in ur hair for a while, and u don't leave shampoo in ur hair like that.

Someone told you to use coconut oil and it's not working?

Of course not! It's all part of a $32 billion dollar business.

"You find people oiling hair every single day, the hair sweats and it doesn’t get washed. What do you think happens? It goes limp and becomes thin because it is not breathing,” Shamillah Mohammed, a hairstylist at SUQA, says.

On page 83, a book called 'Me, My Hair & I' edited by Elizabeth Benedict, she wrote: "I knew my hair is thinning . . ." then she mentioned she had been using amla hair oil.

FYI:
It takes 20 years of bad hair days, for women to figure out what to do with their hair, and it takes 20 years of trying to fix it, using various hair products that can do more harm than good. It is part of a billion dollar business.

Hair products are NOT made of glue to fix, prevent, repair, reverse hair from getting damaged, or hair loss, or make them grow . . . . they are a $32 billion dollar business. They also do NOT give money back guarantee for damaged hair or hair loss caused by heat & chemicals - hair's worst enemies. • Hair products may claim one or more benefits, but usually they do not have scientific base.

"No hair product can change the hair's biology," says Eric Bone, senior VP of global research and innovation @ L'Oreal USA. "Products that 'repair' them are like glue used to put a broken vase back together. At the end of the day, it's still broke," says dermatologist Paul J. McAndrews, MD, a clinical professor @ the University of Southern California School of Medicine. "Overall, products are a temporary fix, although some can help prevent damage. But your best bet is really to stop damaging hair, period."

Example 1: "Hello, my hair is bleached and I've colored it alot in the past.
I haven't retouched my bleached hair in a month or two and my hair is Constantly breaking off!!! I'm losing SOOO much hair!!! Especially in the middle of my hairline
Ive been using Moroccan oil conditioner, olive oil masks and my hair is still breaking off! PLEASE HELP ME."

SOLUTION:
Change how you STYLE your hair by going NATURAL. Natural hair means no relaxer, no chemical to straighten your hair out, no styling heating tools. The way it grows out your root, that’s the way you rock it.

Cutting your split ends yourself, spend 5-10 mins. on a sunny day so you can easily spot them, using a 2" scissors, cut strand by strand, section by section, allowing new growth to take over. Then 2x a year, get a good hair cut. You'll find out, that split ends comes in many lengths, and one strand may even have hundreds of little branches like a tree in them, split in various sizes & shapes.

Washing less often, builds the natural oil your hair needs, to get them smoother, shinier, silkier, softer. Man-made products are just temporary, until you wash them again, and at the same time washing off the natural oil your hair NEEDS. Hair products just absorb on your hair if they're dry, like a sponge.

"Foods for Healthy Hair"
.. - or 10 Best Foods for Your Hair.
NO MATTER which link you picked, they all suggest the same foods. Your hair may be the fastest-growing tissue in the body but, unlike the skin, it cannot repair itself. That is why getting the right balance of vitamins and proteins is imperative. Don't expect to look like you've stepped out of a hair commercial the day after you've changed your diet. It is likely to take at least three months before you actually see tangible results. Hair is dead, but hair also has electrical energy; the negative charge of damaged hair can lead to flyways and unruly hair and tampering with your hair using heat makes the hair grow slowly or none, you’re sending currents to the roots tampering them.

Growing healthy hair doesn't come from a bottle or pills and hair products do not speed hair growth. Any hair oil, is another form to keep hair moisturized, nothing more. If you're in HS, your hair & nails should be growing normally, and as healthily as possible, since you're eating healthy foods. But when hair isn't growing as fast, it's because they've been tampered with: chemicals, hair straightening, etc. . So, one needs to have a healthy balanced diet to have healthy hair.

Have you tried a deep conditioner hair mask? (Make sure if you do try masks or leave in conditioners to not overdo the protein, to much protein can cause your hair to be as frizzy as too little.) What type of hair do you have?
