Calculate the pOH of a solution that is 4.12×10-1 M in NH3 and 3.77×10-2 M in the salt NH4Cl. Round your answer to 3 significant digits.

NH3(aq) + H2O(l) = NH4+(aq) + OH-(aq)

✔ 最佳答案
NH₃(aq) + H₂O(l) ⇌ NH₄⁺(aq) + OH⁻(aq)

pOH = pKb - log([NH₃]/ [NH₄⁺])
pOH = -log(1.8 × 10⁻⁵) - log[(4.12 × 10⁻¹)/(3.77 × 10⁻²)]
pOH = 3.71
