If I got Into First Fight What Would Happen?

Someone called my girl fat and ugly and some other really messed up things. If I was to knock him out unexpectedly what would happen? Would I get arrested I'm under 18 and this would be the first time I got in any trouble at my school. I don't care if I went to a juvenile detention center but I don't want probation.

aye bro chill, talk to the guy that talked crap and ask him for a fair right somewhere out the school. fight like a man and do not be a coward. trust me you dont have to get in trouble if you set fair guidelines.

you likely will Not knock him out and a fight will ensue. also youd be a coward for throwing on him unexpectedly. if you win youll get a ticket probably depending on how bad the fight was, if you lose youll look bad.

You'd get arrested for felony assault and a bunch of other stuff, suspended or expelled from school, etc.

It depends.
If he hits his head on the ground and dies, then you would be charged with manslaughter (or some other homicide charge); since that's a felony, you might spend many years in prison.
Now, if the other guy is a better fighter, or just lucky, you might be the one dying and he the one going to prison.
Either way, at the end you'll end up without a girlfriend.

Violence isn't the answer. I can understand you wanting to hit him for saying that stuff, but why should you get into trouble when he is the one in the wrong? Ask God to deal with him. If he keeps mouthing off like that sooner or later it will catch up with him anyway, you don't need to do anything.

It's hard to say. A knockout is a potentially lethal blow. You could drive his nose into his brain or he might crush his brain as he fell. Anyone who aims a knockout blow at me, I feel perfectly justified in using lethal force to respond. The law would back me up 100%.
So, one option is that you would in fact be beaten to death yourself. I certainly would respond that way.
Or, after he recovers, he will do something to you or your family.
Or, you manage to kill him, and then yes you will get something other than probation.
