Looking to buy a house and the house im looking at is 1638 sq ft. I'm trying to find how much it would be to install privacy fence around the whole house but i need to kno the linear feet. Is there somehow i can convert the sq feet to linear feet so i can get the price? Thanks in advanced. I will be giving 5 stars.

You can't determine perimeter from area unless the shape is a pure one--a square, a circle, etc.
Anyway you want to put the fence around your -lot-, not your house. Most likely the lot is a rectangle, X number of feet by X number of feet. So add length and width and multiply by two. If you don't know, you can measure it easily enough!
