How to calculate GPA with one course withdrawal?
I took 18 credits in my Spring semester. But, for some medical issue I had to withdraw a 3 credit course and shows a 'W' for that course. Can anyone tell me how will my GPA will be calculated for that course?
Now, I have two 1 crd course, 1 four crd course, three 3 crd course - totalling 15 credits.
Please, help me. Thanks in advance.

Does your college use plus minus grading. Yes it does make a difference.
You should have learned and know how to calculate an average in HIOGHSCHOOL.
If yot an "A"; in the course Multiply 4.000 by the number of credit hours the course carries. if you got a "B" in the course multiply the number credit hours the course corries by 3.000. If you got a C. in the course. multiply 2.000 by the number of credit hours. if you got a 'D_" in the course multiply the number of credit hours by 1.00. Add all those numbers up then dive by the total number of credit hours, 15 credit hours. DO NOT include the course you got the "W". if you do not know how to multiply or divide, you should bo back to graduate school or get online and do som khan math tutorials until you CAN multiply and divide WITHOUT a calculator.
The W will not be factored into your gpa. Why are you not asking your academic adviser this question????
參考: I am a director of academic advising.
W is not counted in your GPA.
It depends on your school, but usually if you have a W it should not be reflected in the GPA
