急問英文時態的疑問?

Tom 在上個星期三叫我draw 一幅圖畫，叫我今個星期三下午一時俾佢，我剛剛醒起要畫幅圖，但是現在已經趕不及去畫幅圖。想問問大家到下午一時我是不是應該同Tom講"I'm sorry, I forgot to draw the picutre." forgot 用過去式有無問題。
