Should I move out?

I'm about to be 19, and driving 2 hours per day to get to and from school sucks. The only plus I get from living with my parents is free rent and occasionally free food.

A couple years ago, when my brother was 18 he moved out. It was mainly because of how much he fought with our parents. Long story short it was a lot harder for him than he thought it would be. Paying rent is expensive! If you were to get a roommate make sure it isn't a really close friend because I can almost guarantee you that even best friends don't make good roommates, you will not stay friends if you live together. But say you are going to college. It's a great experience but I would tell you to move into an on campus dorm because they are more affordable and much easier to get to school. It is truly up to you if you want to move out, free food and board is slways nice but you will have to leave eventually. Best of luck!

The money you save on rent you must be throwing away on petrol. It doesn't sound worth it to me, but only move out if you feel emotionally and financially ready to. Another option would be to find a school more local.
