Finding organic overall reaction?

I need to find the overall equation from the following two half equations:
C6H6O6 + 2H+ + 2e- -> C6H8O6 (technically ascorbate)
and
C2H6O -> 2H+ + 2e- + C2H4O

C6H6O6 is reduced, and C2H6O is oxidised.

The overall equation that I've worked out is:
C6H6O6 + 2H+ + C2H6O -> 2H+ + C2H4O
Is this correct?

Reduction half equation :
C₆H₆O₆ + 2H⁺ + 2e⁻ → C₆H₈O₆ ...... (*)

Oxidation half equation :
C₂H₆O → 2H⁺ + 2e⁻ + C₂H₄O ...... (#)

(*) + (#), and cancel 2H⁺ and 2e⁻ on the both sides of the equation. The balanced overall equation is :
C₆H₆O₆ + C₂H₆O → C₆H₈O₆ + C₂H₄O
