There are four compounds formed by lithium, chlorine and oxygen.

(1) LiClO₄ : The name is lithium perchlorate or lithium chlorate(VII).

(2) LiClO₃ : The name is lithium chlorate or lithium chlorate(V).

(3) LiClO₂ : The name is lithium chlorite or lithium chlorate(III).

(4) LiClO : The name is lithium hypochlorite or lithium chlorate(I).
