What are the worst consequences for not paying a red camera light in Illinois?
I received one in the mail today. I sent in an appeal with a letter stating I am innocent.
If they return with a reply that I'm guilty and have to pay I don't want to.
I looked up the company I'd send the bill to and it's a third party company.
I read it is a civil violation. I read on the ticket I received if I don't pay it I can have a suspension of my driving priveleges. Is this true in Illinois?

the only way you could be "innocent" is if the camera shows someone else driving the vehicle; as far as not paying the citation - you may face the company sending the bill to collections, then a small claims Court appearance

Why would the ticket say your license could be suspended if it weren't true?

Obvi its true. just pay it because you were speeding.
