We have a problem of bed bugs in just one part of the house. We have removed the bed, the mattresses, employed expensive pest-control methods, but the problem still persists. As a last resort we have now decided to paint all the walls. Would it help get rid of the bugs?
No. They do not live on the walls, and will not be affected by paint. They live in crevices, etc. Especially crevasses in soft items. But also under, behind the baseboards, etch.
No, the paint will dry.
Bed bugs can go a year without eating.
Bed bugs live inside the walls and will crawl under the baseboards and through cracks and any tiny place.
The paint could seal up tiny places in the walls.
The bed bugs like to go under and in the furniture and in closets.
no no it wiil be free for you :P
No, sorry. Try bunch of different automatic bug sprays. Set all of them off, and get out of the house. Do it at least three times. In every part of the house. Try even spraying in the walls. It might help. Though, be careful. I would recommend hiring or at least talk to a professional before you do anything.
No.
Painting the apartment helps the apartment be a different color.
Getting a new bed and having an exterminator come over and cleaning every square millimeter of the apartment with bleach helps get rid of bed bugs.
Use indoor outdoor pesticide just at door jams on the side so you won`t step in it.That stuff is so powerful it will work for months.Cost about $10.00
no, bed bugs aren't on the walls
Uhh, no, they live in your mattress and in soft furnishings.

You're going to need to something a little more effective than that.
I'd be straight on the phone to a fumigation specialist.
No. I had them in my apartment and payed alot of money to rid them. 2 heat treatments. The first one did not work l. I threw out my couch and had a second heat treatment, havent seen them since.
To get rid of the bed bugs is quite a problem, you must search them and find out where they hiding at first. Then, the second step is to eliminate by various methods for example, they hide on wall and painting is a
method to deal with otherwise fumigation instead.
Yip
Oh, you better mix chilli powder with lysol and spray the mixture on the wall before painting it. Try to observe for a week or two if it works. If not, well you better change your beddings, pillows and mattresses.
Painting can NOT solve the trouble, maybe you can use the boiling water to water the gap and put some bed bugs' drug to the gap.
A common household pest is bed bug. First, you need use boiling water to clean all gaps bed bugs hide, to kill all the bed bugs' eggs. Second, you can throw away the clothes and bed sheets you don't need, and hang bed sheets out in the sun. Third, you should use some putty and lime in the gap or use bug drug.
No. Only pesticides kill bed bugs. Nothing else.
No. You need to wash all your bedding and preferably hang it all out in the sun. Then vaccum your mattress.
Bed bugs like to be sandwiched between two objects. If painting seals any breaks where bed bugs can hide, then painting will help control bed bugs. Eliminating as many hiding places as possible is the best way to control them. Then you add chemical control, heat, and sanitation. Bed bugs should use every effective option. Painting can be a tool depending on the situation.
you need a professional - he will arrive in an unmarked car.
No. they don't care about paint. They set up house in the beds.
Painting will only give you fresh painted walls. The fuckingbuggs are all throughout the apartment and probably in other apartment too. get on the landlord to fix the problem. Talk to the health department if you need to light a fire under them.
