Just wanted to know if anyone had the same electric shock/zinger feeling go down their leg while getting an epidural in labor?

I wasnt going to go with the epidural but when the time came it was the best option. But when the dr put the needle in im assuming..i felt a pain like a electric twinge is the best way to describe it go down my right leg only. then my leg kicked up ! I got nervous, has anyone had this happen while in labor? Im not sure if its in my head but now I feel like my right leg hurts more.
