Is anyone here happy with the quality and cost of their health insurance?

That's about par for the course since the Affordable Care Act started the takeover of the health care system.

The people on welfare are happy with the cost but not the quality. The people that are subsidized by the government are happy to get coverage so they can get what ails them fixed but then are cancelling their plan. Everyone else is happy with the quality but not too pleased with the cost.

Males and 60 year old females are really happy with the maternity coverage that they have to pay for.

Obama pretty much F'd over everyone including the middle class. My health payments have changed much, but the costs I actually pay when I go to a doctor are WAY up. Not only is it now more expensive but deductibles now cover less and way more out of pocket costs. Its exactly what everyone said would happen, money doesn't fall free out of the sky.

Before Obamacare, my old insurance had a high deductible, so it never paid for anything. Well, almost never. It once paid $12.50 for a flu shot that would have been free if I did not insurance. But I had it almost 10 years and the total it paid in all that time was less than what I paid each month to have insurance.

My new insurance is free to me (my employer pays for it), the deductible is lower, and they waive it for almost everything except hospitalization. I had an outpatient procedure that would have cost almost $2000 without insurance and it cost me barely over $100.

If you have no insurance and have not had insurance for 60 days or more, you can't purchase insurance now.

If you are able to purchase insurance now, you should to talk to an insurance broker in your area. They will help you evaluate the plans that are available in your community. The insurance companies pay the commission fees; you do no pay any more when using a broker.

For many people, purchasing a bronze level plan is more cost effective than a gold or platinum plan. Once the annual out of pocket is met, the plans provide the same benefits and the bronze plan will be significantly lower monthly premium.

The Affordable Care Act is a law. You don't purchase insurance "through it".

I'm happy with my quality of health insurance. i have had the same company since 2005. Until health care treatment is less expensive, the cost of health insurance is going to be expensive.
= when you were in your teens, 40 years ago = what happened if you broke your arm? You had an x-ray, it was put in a cast, and you moved on your way in 4-8 weeks.

Only the people on welfare, or who are heavily subsidized (another form of welfare) are happy about it. Obamacare has raised the cost of health insurance for the vast majority of Americans, dramatically.

I'm not happy that's for sure. I have to pay out $600.00 per month for a bronze plan. I might as well drive down the street & throw the money out monthly, because I get ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for paying that. Then I have a $6700.00 deductible per year before insurance would pay. Due to games played with out of network stuff, insurance companies are clever in making sure if something happens to go over $6700.00 it never reaches. The out of network games makes someone have to pay 100% for Drs. & services someone deals with EVEN IN AN EMERGENCY. When I travel out of state, I have no insurance, although with what I described to you above is really like not having it but paying for many others who I don't even know to have it for way less because they make less money than me, or they are a lot younger than me. The system is set up to abuse seniors who aren't old enough to get medicare. It was implied younger people would be paying for older people to get healthcare, but I've checked it all out. THAT IS NOT True, unless a senior is dirt poor. I am lower middle class & it makes me sick the unfairness of all of this.
