Why are Suburban Cops more pricky than City Cops ?

If where you live is anywhere like where I live, it is because they don't have anything better to do...at least that is what I was told by the cop who pulled me over for a headlight out.
I showed him the new headlight, that I had just bought and mentioned that i live about about a quarter mile away and would've installed it in the auto part store's parking lot, but it says no repairs.
He then started to write a ticket. I said seriously? There are crack dealers down on _____ street and I'm getting pulled over for a headlight that I have already bought a replacement for. Don't you have anything better to do?
He said, sometimes he does, sometimes he doesn't. Then told me wait while he called backup. 3 more squad cars pulled up, and the all stood around talking for about an hour and a half while I just stood there. Then they all got in their cars and left without saying a word to me.
I guess he wanted to prove his point. They don't have anything better to do.

Because they are less tolerant of nonsense in the burbs. They have the time and resources to keep things under control .
