Where is the antenna on a 2001 honda accord? Front windshield or back windshield?

The antenna is built in the rear windshield. Check the antenna connection on the back of the radio unit.

How hard would it be to look for the wire? How much common sense does it take to know the car manufacture would raise the cost of the car if they needed to run a wire to the rear to connect to the antenna.
