Change Profile pic on Yahoo?

The Yahoo Profile was removed around 1/1/2015. They were supposed to move most of the features to Account Info under the Gear icon. They still have not done so. Right now you aren't able to edit your profile picture, nickname, gender, or date of birth from within your account settings.

You can change the "Yahoo Answers" nickname. Click on your avatar/name in the left column; click on edit preferences; and click on "edit" after the nickname. A popup will open allowing you to change the name.

Yahoo stopped letting posters change avatars or pictures on accounts back in January 2015. No word on when we can change them again from Yahoo staff.

It takes 11 seconds for the YAnswers webpage to open for me to be able to click on the [add your answer] button. is my laptop slow?

You can't. Avatars and the editing of nicknames, birthdates and other information were disabled more than a year ago. They are making changes to profiles. No one knows when or if they will be enabled again.

The Yahoo profiles were NOT removed a year ago. You can access your Yahoo profile by clicking or tapping your your email address in the upper Right corner. Try clicking on the avatar. You have NO option to upload an image. Same thing happens if open your YA activity profile and try to edit your avatar in YA activity profile. Yahoo disabled changing avatars in March, 2015, and no uploading images from personal devices has been disabled as well. I am not sure how long that has been going on. You cannot change your avatar unless Yahoo fooling around with EITHER the Yahoo profiles or YA activity profiles temporarily changes your avatar.

Change it to a picture of Bob Hope. Can t go wrong there.
