What are my chances of getting into CS at Urbana-Champaign as an International student?

I'm doing the full IB diploma in high school with Math HL, Physics HL, and Computer Science HL. I want to study Computer Science in a good university in the US, however, I am neither a citizen nor a permanent resident of the US, hence making me an international student.

So far, my cumulative high school GPA is 3.87 I haven't taken the SAT yet but based on the PSAT two times, I'm predicted somewhere between 1850-1900.

I've heard the Computer Science department in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is super competitive. What are my chances?

You still have time to study for the SAT. It's also important to keep your GPA every semester good. Do some extracurriculars to make you seem more well rounded. US colleges don't just look at academics but also ambitions, interests, etc.

You need to take the SAT as soon as possible if you plan on applying this fall. Give yourself time to take the SAt twice, and have your results back in time to apply. Most students score higher the second time they take it.

They will want your unwieghted cumulative GPA at the end of junior year. If that is a 3.8 and you have a good SAT score you have a good chance of being accepted.
