Odds in favor -- ratio of *favorable* outcomes to *unfavorable* outcomes.
Odds against -- ratio of *unfavorable* outcomes to *favorable* outcomes.
Probability of success -- ratio of *favorable* outcomes to *total* outcomes.
Probability of failure -- ratio of *unfavorable* outcomes to *total* outcomes.

If the odds are 1 to 5 in favor, that means you will have 1 favorable outcome to 5 unfavorable outcomes. But the *total* outcomes will be 6.

P(winning) = 1/6

And likewise, the probability of not winning will be 5 unfavorable outcomes to 6 total outcomes.

P(not winning) = 5/6

Answer:
5/6
