Suggest with reasons, three(3) ways of reducing the total sound pressure level of an air-conditioning system in an office room if it exceeds the standard requirements.

In central HVAC, sound/noise is transmitted from air duct to the office space/room.

Sound attenuation solutions:
1. Check and improve the HVAC unit fan motor and fan bearing lubrication to reduce vibration noise transmitted in to air flow.
2. Check the air duct for any loose joints or loose thermal/acoustic insulation. Repair any defective duct installations. Install/add air duct silencer if significant noise reduction required.
3. Check the air flow rate into the office. If air speed is too high, check the fan speed and control device to adjust lower fan speed or modify with automatic variable speed control for better managed noise and optimal air flow for thermal comfort.
